Dr Dominica Higgs has a wealth of experience behind him having previously worked as a GP in the UK, and in regional and remote Western Australia.

Dr Higgs is a Skin Specialist GP with extensive additional training in Skin Cancer Medicine, obtaining a Diploma of Dermoscopy and Diploma of Skin Cancer from Skin Cancer College Australasia.

Dr Higgs performs skin checks, biopsy and complex skin surgery and excisions including flap and graft surgery, performed onsite within the practice. Dr Higgs is particularly passionate about skin cancer treatment and detection, with specialist training in surgical excision of skin cancers and lesions.

His other area of interest is palliative care and chronic disease management.

Dr Higgs holds a pilot’s license, and spends his spare time tinkering with machinery, electrics, plumbing, home renovations or in his garden. Importantly, he enjoys the lifestyle that our sunny state has to offer with his young family.
