Mosman Park Family Practice is a privately billing medical practice.

Why we charge a fee
Although the Government has recently increased bulk billing incentives, these payments still don’t cover the full cost of providing high-quality care at this practice. To continue offering you the time, attention, and services you deserve, we charge a fee for most consultations.

Weekday Fee Schedule (Monday - Friday)

  • Standard Consult: $95 (Medicare Rebate $43.90)

  • Telehealth Consult: $95 (Medicare Rebate $43.90)

  • Long Consult: $155(Medicare Rebate $84.90)

  • Skin Cancer Checks: $105 (Medicare Rebate $43.90)

Weekend Fee Schedule (Saturday)

  • Standard Consult: $105 (Medicare Rebate $43.90)

  • Telehealth Consult: $105 (Medicare Rebate $43.90)

  • Long Consult: $165 (Medicare Rebate $84.90)

  • Skin Cancer Checks: $105 (Medicare Rebate $43.90)

Non Attendance
Failure to keep an appointment will incur a charge of $95 for a standard and $155 for a long. Please give at least 2 hours notice.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation fee applies for missed appointments or cancelled appointments within 2 hours of the scheduled time.

Procedures
Specialist procedures (e.g. IUD and implanon insertion/removal/replacement, cryotherapy, skin cancer biopsy and excision) will have a higher gap fee in addition to your consultation fees.

Medicare Claiming
Your Medicare claiming will be processed automatically at the time of payment.

​An outline of standard fees and expected Medicare rebates is available at reception. As consultation fees vary depending on the presenting problem, consultation time, and complexity of the assessment, it is not possible for our staff to tell you how much you will need to pay until the end of your consultation.​

Payment can be made by cash, EFTPOS or Credit Card (excluding Diners and AMEX cards).
