SKIN CANCER CLINIC
Introducing Our Specialised Melanoma and Skin Cancer Care Clinic
Recognising the need for a high-quality skin cancer service for our patients, we’ve introduced a comprehensive suite of skin cancer services, all delivered by the GP practice and doctors you know and trust.
Our skin doctors have advanced training and extensive experience in the early detection and treatment of all forms of skin cancer.
We offer comprehensive skin checks to all patients, non-surgical treatment of pre- cancerous lesions (cryotherapy and topical treatments), biopsies and excisions, as well as advanced surgery with graft and flap repairs, performed at the clinic by Dr Dominic Higgs and Dr John Spencer.
Comprehensive Skin Check
During your skin check, your doctor will:
• Take an extensive skin history
• Perform a thorough examination of your head, face, neck, torso, legs, feet, arms, and hands
• Use an advanced dermatoscope to closely examine moles, freckles, lesions, or bumps and may record clinical images of them in your chart for future comparison
• Provide recommendations for treatment (if required), frequency of future checks, and educational materials
Private Fee:
$100.00
Medicare Refund:
$42.85
Fees for excisions vary with size and position of the lesion and you will be advised an estimated fee prior to the procedure.
